Gig re-scheduled..

Well, the same one, but you can now also (not instead of!) access this tumblr via tomstephensmusic.co.uk, which having changed from tomstephens.tumblr.com, actually means you have to press the same amount of keys as before and is essentially not helpful. But its oh so British.

Turns out I won’t be okay for my gig on Tuesday, feel proper rough today and coughing up at least 3 different colours of …gunky..thing. Hot.
I only ever get ill when I have a gig, but there we go… That should be re-scheduled for the next few weeks anyway.

Today… I got paid £50 by the university for 4 hours of work, to be half of the audition/interview panel (along with the course leader) for the new intake of students on my course. I felt like a less-Irish Louis Walsh. FEEL THE POWER? mmhmm. That is a job and a pay rate I can live with.
And tomorrow afternoon I’m gonna have a little solo recording session in uni for a few hours just...
This is just for fun really, but somebody suggest for me some covers to maybe play live or record. I’ve been recording so much old stuff lately to get it down and am just enjoying recording things, so if anyone has a suggestion for me I’m all ears. Doesn’t mean I’ll do it, just interested, so if its something acoustic-based orrr death metal, then let me know. I’m thinking Nick Drake - Pink Moon...
